New Beginnings...

Abundant Grace Fellowship was started in 2007 with a small group of Christians who had known and worshiped with one another for several years, but were without a church home at the time.  Some calls were made, and everyone met at Pastor Brett's house on Sunday.  Brett explained that he wanted to start a new fellowship where we could simply get together and learn God's Word, fellowship, break bread and pray for one another - as in Acts 2. 

Everything was going fine, and we decided in January of 2008 to move from Brett's house to his wife's restaurant - Kee's  Teriyaki.  We saw that the Lord had provided us a place to get together on Sundays - a place where we don't have to pay rent, and for which we don't owe anyone a dime!  The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and we drink good coffee, praise the Lord in songs, and learn His Word together.  There is even room for Kid's Church, and a little bookstore also!

As for New Covenant giving, we don't take an offering, but everyone is free to give or not, as God leads.  This is the New Covenant way to give, as stated in II Corinthians 8 and 9.  Furthermore, at Abundant Grace we do not exercise a membership policy, for ALL born-again  Christians are members of Christ's Church (His Body) and that is all that matters.  We desire that everyone who fellowships at Abundant Grace either be born-again when we meet them, or that they hear and believe the Gospel (I Corinthians 15:1-5) and then receive Christ as their Lord and Saviour!  One must be BORN into the family of God (John 3:3) not join it.  Anything else does not come from Scripture, and is therefore man-made.
